Former Time Inc. Exec Acquires Ziff Assets
Former Time Inc. digital executive Vivek Shah has snatched up technology publisher Ziff Davis in conjunction with the Boston-based Great Hill Partners.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Shah, who was most recently group digital president of Time Inc.’s News Business Unit before leaving the company last November, plans to use the Ziff acquisition to shape a new digital media company centered on reaching online shoppers.
Among the nine Ziff Web sites that were part of the transaction were PCMag.com,
