FamilyFun publisher Deb Mignucci was among the higher-ups laid off this week when Meredith Corp. cut about 60 people across its magazines like Better Homes and Gardens and Family Circle in the face of lower ad revenue. Eighty were let go company-wide.

Mignucci was the publisher of FamilyFun when Meredith bought FamilyFun from Disney Publishing Worldwide as part of a buying spree this past year.

FamilyFun had already gone through some changes in March when Jeff Wellington became vp and group publisher of the Meredith Parents Network, replacing Brian Kightlinger. Wellington will oversee the title going forward.

Also let go from the sales side this week was Rick Straface, an associate publisher for the Better Homes brand.
