Bloomberg Will Simulcast Its NewFronts Presentation Across the Globe

If you can't make it to New York, New York will come to you

Bloomberg is the first presenter to offer its NewFronts presentation to out-of-town buyers.

In two months, advertisers will flood New York for the annual two-week marketplace known as the Digital Content NewFronts. The presentations will be well attended, with some 37 digital video players vying for their piece of the $3 billion digital-video advertising pie, but one company is making sure all buyers in major cities can view its presentation.

Bloomberg Media announced this morning it will be the first presenter to simulcast its NewFronts presentation, on May 2, the first day of the conference. It's inviting buyers to view the two-hour event at its offices in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Boston, Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami. The media arm of the privately held Bloomberg L.P. will also offer a global stream in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Bloomberg is scheduled for the late-afternoon slot, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET, so agencies on the West Coast won't have to wake up early, but it could be a late night or early morning in Tel Aviv, Moscow, Singapore and beyond.

The NewFronts, sponsored by the Interactive Advertising Bureau, will run through May 13. New presenters include Playboy, Mashable, Hearst, WebMD, Woven Digital, SheKnows Media and Trusted Media Brands (formerly Reader's Digest).
