Thanks to the wonders of technology, Paul Arden, the late Saatchi & Saatchi creative director who first brought the agency's New Directors Showcase to Cannes 20 years ago, returned to the Palais from beyond the grave on Thursday to introduce this year's selections of up and comers.
  Saatchi's cd of global culture, Richard Myers, had, as he said, the "supernatural pleasure" of welcoming his former colleague to the stage—in the form of a hologram created by Square Zero and Musion.
