ATLANTA Zubi Advertising’s new ads for American Airlines target U.S. Hispanic travelers to Latin America, the agency said.

Spanish-speaking versions of the Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier’s “I fly” campaign use testimonials from both business and leisure passengers.

Spots, launching Oct. 15, will air nationally on Sabado Gigante on Univision and Sports Wrap-Up on Telemundo. Additional spot television advertising will appear on both Univision and Telemundo in New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami and Washington, D.C.

The effort marks the first Hispanic testimonial-type advertising the client has done specifically for the Latin American market.
