BOSTON Omnicom Group's Zimmerman Advertising said it has promoted three key executives: Cliff Courtney, who has been named evp, chief strategy officer; Michael Goldberg, raised to evp, chief marketing officer; and Scott Thaler, advanced to evp, chief client officer.
"Cliff, Michael and Scott have made a significant impact within the agency over the years, and very much so within 2006," said agency president Pat Patregnani. "The title changes are a reflection of the commitment, hard work, and dedication they continue to exemplify day after day at Zimmerman."
The Florida-based agency said all three played key roles in helping the agency land new business such as Crocs, Six Flags, PayPal and Seabourne Cruise Lines. Their elevations reward their efforts to target, win and maintain those clients, the agency said. The trio had previously been vice presidents.
The shop, best known as a retail specialist but diversifying of late, employs more than 860 full-time associates and maintains outposts in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Atlanta.
