NEW YORK--Pat Doyle, director of business development at Young & Rubicam in New York, has left the agency after two years in that role, a Y&R representative confirmed.
Following Doyle's departure, worldwide CEO Mike Dolan will steer new business development, at least for the immediate future, the representative said. Addressing staffers today, Dolan acknowledged a lack of recent success in this area and vowed to do better.
Doyle came to Y&R from the former Lowe Lintas & Partners. She was a top-level executive at the former Ammirati Puris Lintas before that agency merged with the former Lowe & Partners in October 1999.
Doyle, who could not immediately be reached, is said to be interested in working for non-profit organizations and plans to go back to school.
