NEW YORK Ron Bess, vice chairman at WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam for integration and business development, will step down this fall and his duties will be divided among other agency executives, an agency representative said.
The rep did not elaborate and Bess could not be reached.
Bess, 57, had been chairman and chief executive of the agency’s New York office for about two years until February, when that role was taken over by Michael Patti, who is also Y&R’s chief creative officer.
