NEW YORK -- Young & Rubicam's digital unit has landed two pieces of business, one domestically and another overseas, according to its holding company WPP.
The New York office of Y&R2.1 has been assigned to redesign MetLife's Web site (http://www.metlife.com/). The new site will reflect the insurance company's brand positioning and focus on introducing consumers to the range of products MetLife offers. Y&R in New York handles traditional advertising for MetLife.
Separately, Kraft Foods International has handed Digital Peppers, Y&R2.1's Amsterdam-based interactive shop, the task of developing a multi-national Web site for the company's Milka chocolate brand. The assignment will cover Germany, France, Italy, Austria and Poland.
The budget for both projects was not disclosed.
