DALLAS Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages is going beyond Young & Rubicam’s lead office in New York for creative concepts on its $100 million-plus Dr Pepper account.

Y&R, which has handled the Dr Pepper account for 36 years, is pooling creative teams from New York, San Francisco and Chicago at the client’s request, according to sources. The idea search is strictly within Y&R and does not include outside agencies belonging to Y&R parent WPP Group, according to sources.
