Y&R Names BBDO's Sigle N.Y. CFO

NEW YORK Young & Rubicam has recruited BBDO's Marc Sigle to become chief financial officer of Y&R's office here, the WPP Group agency said.

Sigle, 40, succeeds Mike Ziegler, who is shifting to a global financial role at Y&R Brands.

Sigle spent 18 years at Omnicom Group's BBDO in New York, holding several financial posts and rising to executive vice president and treasurer. Last year, he also became a member of the office's board of directors. BBDO executives have temporarily assumed his duties while the shop searches for a new treasurer, an agency representative said.

At Y&R, Sigle reports to Mary Maroun, managing partner for the New York office, and Seith Rothstein, Y&R's North American CFO.
