The latest rogues’ gallery is about to be released from About-Face, an organization that skewers negative images of women in advertising. The list includes ads for Bebe (shown here), Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Diesel.
This month, the gallery will appear on the group’s Web site, About-Face.org. Text accompanying the Bebe ad: “Feeling caged in? Eating like a bird?
You may be getting way more vitamin BB than you need.”
Executive director Kathy Bruin and 10 volunteer staffers have run About-Face, San Francisco, since 1997.
