NEW YORK Yahoo saw its shares decrease nearly 8 percent to close at $32.56 today, despite notching the largest revenue producing quarter in its nine-year history.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company, a bellwether of online advertising, reported yesterday that second-quarter revenue totaled $321.4 million, a 42 percent boost over the $225.8 million posted in the year-ago period.
