NEW YORK Yahoo said that it has nominated Roy Bostock, former chairman of Bcom3 Group, to its board of directors.

The company’s stockholders will vote on the nomination at their meeting on May 16. All other current board members, except former Yahoo president and chief executive Tim Koogle, will stand for re-election at the annual gathering.

Bostock, 62, currently chairman of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, began his advertising career in 1964 at Benton & Bowles.
