BOSTON XM Satellite Radio has consolidated its ad account with Interpublic Group’s Mullen, moving media chores to the agency from Aegis Group’s Carat, according to Mullen executive vice president, director of business development Melissa Lea.

Lea did not give a reason for the switch and neither the client nor Carat could immediately be reached.

XM spent about $60 million on ads last year and $15 million through the first half of 2003, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
