NEW YORK Wunderman has filled its chief creative officer post in New York with Nick Moore, former executive creative director at Tequila in London. Moore, 44, succeeds Joel Sobelson, who left last September.
In his new role, Moore will oversee more than 100 staffers and report to office president Steve Zammarchi. New York is the headquarters of Wunderman, a unit of WPP Group's Young & Rubicam Brands. Key clients include Microsoft, Citibank, Pfizer and Hewlett-Packard.
"Nick's knowledge of every aspect of relationship marketing, his creative insight and engaging personality are the perfect combination for our increasingly diverse multi-channel business," said Zammarchi.
He is expected to join Wunderman in August, after he relocates to the United States.
Moore is a member of the 2006 Lions Direct jury at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, which takes place next week.
At Tequila, a unit of Omnicom Group's TBWA, Moore worked on accounts such as Vauxhall, NatWest, Adidas, Canon and Reuters. He became ecd in November 2004, when Tequila merged with TBWA\GGT, where Moore was cd. Earlier in his career, Moore was a creative director at BHWG (now known as Proximity) in London, where his clients included Volkswagen, BT and Unilever.
