NEW YORK David Lubars, chairman and chief creative officer of Omnicom’s BBDO North America, has been named The Wall Street Journal‘s fourth and final creative leader in the paper’s 2007 “Creative Leaders Challenge” marketing program.

In the latest twist to the 32-year-old campaign, the paper for the first time invited a jury of more than two-dozen past winners to select the latest leader. Lubars was chosen from a field of nearly 40 candidates.

Lubars was honored today at a breakfast at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, where the award was announced.
