If you had to slog into the office over the Labor Day weekend, you weren’t alone. Of the 1,050 employed respondents to a recent Harris Interactive study sponsored by Kronos Inc., 45 percent said they expected to press nose to grindstone at some point during those three days. That finding is one of many illuminating the Lumbergian demands put on workers in our Office Space-ish culture. A weary 32 percent of respondents said they have had to work more hours in the past six months.
