LOS ANGELES Independent WongDoody has hired Chris Ribeiro as creative director in its office here, a new position.
Ribeiro, 41, reports to Tracy Wong, executive creative director in Seattle.
“Bringing Chris and his creative leadership on board will help us better utilize the talented group we already have in L.A.,” said Wong, in a statement. “His vision and expertise are a perfect fit for our growing client roster.”
Ribeiro began his career as a copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather, New York, in 1992, then moved to Los Angeles two years later to work for Lois/Colby in Santa Monica, Calif.
