CHICAGO Youth marketing agency WonderGroup has hired Matt Fischer as chief creative officer, a new position.
Fischer, 43, reports to Tim Coffey, the Cincinnati agency's chief executive officer.
Prior to joining WonderGroup, Fischer was group creative director, executive vice president at Foote, Cone & Belding in New York. He also has held positions at BBDO, Young & Rubicam and Hill Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos. His brand experience includes AT&T, General Electric, Amtrak, Pepsi and Jell-O.
He officially joined the agency in May, making the transition from New York in the last several months, an agency representative said.
Fischer is now working on new creative for WonderGroup clients like ConAgra's Kid Cuisine, Nickelodeon and Chupa Chups.
