LOS ANGELES Wieden + Kennedy said Dave Luhr, the independent agency’s global COO, has ceded his managerial chores at the shop’s Portland, Ore., headquarters to Tom Blessington, who was named managing director in September.
W+K has also promoted creative directors Steve Luker and Jelly Helm to guide Portland’s creative department. They assume the management responsibilities formerly shared by ecd John Jay and CEO and ecd Dan Wieden.
According to Luhr, the move reflects “tremendous growth in all our offices.”
