CHICAGO Snack food maker Wise Foods has tapped Maddock Douglas as its lead agency without a review, according to the shop.
The Elmhurst, Ill., agency began working with the Atlanta-based company last year on packaging and product initiatives, employing its 3-2-1 Launch! unit to find new market opportunities and develop product ideas.
"Their orientation is completely with the product," said Wise Foods CEO Rich Robertson in a statement. "We've already experienced it via their 3-2-1 Launch! division. Maddock Douglas has shown that not only do they get it, they get us."
Wise had recorded ad spending of less than $1 million last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus. The incumbent agency could not be determined.
