SAN FRANCISCO-Winkler Advertising last week picked up the accounts of technology clients Intershop and AboveNet, adding a total of about $18 million in billings.
Winkler won Intershop’s $10 million account following a review of several undisclosed West Coast agencies. The company, which competes with IBM and others, develops software used to set up e-commerce sites on the Web.
With U.S. headquarters in San Francisco, the company is based in Germany and well known overseas, according to Edward Callan, its vice president of marketing.
