NEW YORK Allied Domecq PLC said Wednesday that Kim Manley, chief marketing officer of its wine and spirits division, has resigned.

Manley leaves his role immediately and without compensation, per the London-based company.

Manley joined Allied Domecq in 2000 to lead the wine and spirits marketing function.

The company said an external search will be initiated for a successor.
