MINNEAPOLIS – Wilsons The Leather Experts here and Chuck Ruhr Advertising, Minneapolis, parted ways late last week following a meeting in which the client and agency could not resolve essential ‘relationship’ issues, according to Ruhr president Louise Scroggins. Ruhr had been awarded the $3-4 million Wilsons account last June. Earlier in the month, Wilsons parted with Kauffman Stewart, also Minneapolis, on its Snyders stores account, according to vp/marketing Paul Tomlinson. Tomlinson said the company would handle advertising for Snyders in-house while evaluating its needs.
