Williams-Sonoma has selected Digitas to handle interactive marketing for its Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids brands.

Spending was not disclosed but is believed to be at least in the high seven figures.

Working the account in its San Francisco office, Digitas is assigned to launch online wedding and gift registries, beginning with Pottery Barn, and then to redesign the Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn e-commerce sites in time for fall relaunches.

Williams-Sonoma, based in San Francisco, sells housewares and gifts from nearly 400 U.S.
