NEW YORK ? Wieden+Kennedy has been awarded a fourth quarter media-buying and planning assignment from JetBlue Airways, the agency said. Billings are estimated at $2 million for the quarter and will include local broadcast and print in major markets for the New York-based client. Out-of-home will be handled by MacDonald Media in New York. Previously, JetBlue’s media was handled by Arnold. Creative duties are handled by The Ad-Store in New York.

The assignments came after Wieden and MacDonald presented collaborative media proposals to Jet Blue executives earlier this month.
