Wieden Hires BBDO Executive to Run N.Y. Office

Matt Seiler, an evp at BBDO here has joined Wieden
+ Kennedy as managing director of its New York office, effective May 15.
Seiler, 37, most recently director of strategic services at BBDO, replaces Tom Blessington, who
relocated to Wieden’s Portland, Ore., headquarters in March as group account director on the 800.com account. Blessington was part of the original team that opened Wieden
+ Kennedy here in 1997 to service ESPN and helped establish the office as a full-service shop.
