Wieden Adds Luker as Creative Director

LOS ANGELES Award-winning art director and creative director Steve Luker has joined Wieden + Kennedy, the agency confirmed.

Luker was hired to work as a creative director on “various accounts at the Portland office,” according to a source.

Last September, Luker left Omnicom’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, where he had supervised Hewlett-Packard branding after its merger with Compaq [Adweek Online, Sept. 15].

In 1995, Luker had been a creative director at Goodby on accounts such as Nike, Isuzu, Sega and Starbucks.
