ATLANTA Jose Fuentes, who has held communications posts on Capitol Hill, has joined White & Partners as director of consumer public relations, the agency said.
Fuentes replaces Mike Smith, who was with the Herndon, Va., independent shop for two years. Smith left to take a similar position with another agency, said Matt White, CEO of White & Partners.
Most recently, Fuentes was director of press relations for the United States Agency for International Development. Before that, he was deputy director of advance preparations for Vice President Dick Cheney.
