“Of the clog” define a new national magazine campaign for White Mountain Shoes.
The goal: bolster sales of the client’s most popular product line, said Rick Sandler, president of Wallwork Curry Sandler, the Boston shop that created and placed the campaign.
One ad contends that “Circa 500 B.C., early clogs were designed to be durable, not comfortable,” and show a picture of a woman with a wooden plank tied to her foot. Copy explains that by the mid-1960s, “Peace, love, clogs” ruled the day, complete with flower-power decorations.
