WestWayne has installed Brandon Murphy as director of brand planning at its Tampa, Fla., office. Murphy joins from Campbell-Ewald in Detroit, where he was senior vice president, planning director. Elizabeth McCune has been named vice president of the agency's Atlanta office. Last May, McCune was appointed associate media director for the Southeast Toyota Distributors account. Chris Channer has been hired as new business systems analyst. Previously, Channer was a data center manager for Apple Computer. Jackie Lee has become a copywriter on the Russell Athletic and Southeast Toyota Distributors accounts. Lee had worked on the Mercedes-Benz, Fila and Arby's accounts at Merkley + Partners. Elaine Pearson and Erica Nicole Smith have been added as media supervisor and media planner, respectively. Pearson most recently was a broadcast negotiator and broadcast supervisor at Mediaedge:cia. Smith was a strategic planner at Starcom Mediavest. In addition, WW's Breatheinteractive unit has promoted management supervisor Melissa Kimble to vice president. Kimble works with several clients including BellSouth Advertising & Publishing Corp., BellSouth, Publix supermarkets and the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Wendi Newman, former media planning manager at Modem Media, has also joined Breatheinteractive as an account executive on the Buffalo Wild Wings and LandAmerica brands.
