West & Vaughan picked up a pair of new business wins last week, including a creative assignment from The Martin Agency’s client, SmartOnline.
Though the smaller shop said Martin of Richmond, Va., would “emphatically remain” lead agency for SmartOnline, W&V has been awarded corporate identity and collateral projects for the financial information provider.
Prior to the Internet, SmartOnline was called the American Institute for Financial Research. Based in Research Triangle Park, N.C., it also has offices in London and Paris.
“I know the difference between strong, focused creative and that which is not,” said client vice
president of sales and marketing Stephen Mitchem.
