Wells Creative Duo Jumps Ship Fenske and Pearson, Team Behind Amstel Ads, Go to Margeotes

Margeotes/Fertitta + Partners has hired away from Wells BDDP the creative team behind Amstel’s “Boyd Garrison and Americans for Disciplined Behavior” campaign, Mark R. Fenske and John Pearson.
Fenske, a copywriter, and Pearson, an art director, began as associate creative directors at Margeotes earlier this month, reporting to creative director Graham Turner. The pair had served at Wells as vice presidents, associate creative directors for two years. They worked on Heineken USA’s Amstel Light, Amstel Bier Lager and Amstel 1870 Pilsner accounts, plus the client’s Murphy’s Irish Stout and Amber brands.
