NEW YORK Verizon this week will roll out a television campaign featuring the Elliotts, a multicultural family from "Anywhere, USA," and their African American and Hispanic neighbors.
The fictional family of six, headed by Tom and Marta, will star in a series of seven TV spots, some of which will include the Davis and Sandoval families, who are meant to appeal to the African American and Hispanic markets, respectively.
The ads, which aim for a humorous tone, spotlight the client's DSL and various bundled services deals.
The campaign was handled by Verizon's lead agency, McGarry Bowen in New York, along with Burrell Communications in Atlanta and La Agencia de Orci & Asociados in Los Angeles, which handle multicultural ads. Spending was not disclosed.
