LOS ANGELES–WebTV Networks has narrowed the list of contenders for its $50 million account to four California shops, according to the company’s director of consumer marketing, David Patchen.
The contenders for the Mountain View, Calif., Internet television provider are Ogilvy & Mather, Los Angeles; Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco; Ground Zero, Marina del Rey; and incumbent Rubin Postaer and Associates, Santa Monica, Patchen said. About 25 agencies received questionnaires in May from consultant Select Resources International in Los Angeles, which is assisting with the review.
