ATLANTA Mr. Coffee and Ford Motor Co. are sponsoring an online promotion to give away a Ford F-150 truck valued at about $40,000.

The grand-prize winner will choose from a variety of F-150 models with a range of interior and exterior options. The promotion carries "Personalize your coffee, customize your ride" as a tagline, and ties the common practice of choosing options on an automobile with the emerging popularity of customizing coffee products.

The two companies also will name five first-prize winners who will each receive a variety of Mr. Coffee products valued at a total of $250.

People enter the contest by visiting www.mrcoffee.com and clicking on the "Enter to Win a Ford F-150" button. The sweepstakes began Oct. 1 and concludes Dec. 31.

"This promotion is an example of how two powerhouse brands can come together in a fun way to benefit consumers," said Mary Ann Knaus, senior vice president of strategic development and global marketing for Sunbeam Products of Boca Raton, Fla., the manufacturer of Mr. Coffee products.
