WAM! America’s Kidz Network is stepping up its primetime tween programming for its summer slate that launches today with three original series and one strip picked up from Saban Entertainment.

The premiere of “VOX (Voice of a New Generation)” is a Friday night magazine series for ages 8-16 that combines the intensity of real stories with energy, humor and hip production techniques.

Each program offers choices and alternatives as tweens and teens reveal who they are and what they think during segments titled “VOX Pop,” which highlights segments in which kids talk about youth culture and current trends; “Generation VOX,” which profiles outstanding teens; “VOX Life,” which focuses on teen social issues; “Flipside,” a real-life conflict among teens, their parents, siblings and friends; “It’s Romeo’s World,” an animated advice column; and “VOX Unfiltered,” featuring kids ranting about issues that tick them off.
