Waggener Edstrom, a public relations agency famed for representing Microsoft, announced yesterday that it has become the agency of record for Roamable Corp., a wireless platform and services provider. Kim Bouic, vice president in Waggener Edstrom's Bay Area office, will lead the Roamable account.
Based in Santa Monica, Calif., Roamable provides software that allows any e-mail enabled device to request and receive data. Companies already using the Roamable technology include MSNBC and MTV.
"We chose Waggener Edstrom because, frankly, they get it. They have an excellent reputation for providing strategic communications that truly map back to a client's business objectives and secure measurable results," says Michael Goff, CEO of Roamable. They've also got strong relationships with key industry influencers, and that was a crucial factor in our decision to work with them,"
