ATLANTA–Barber Martin Advertising has defended the Virginia Economic Development’s $1.5 million advertising and marketing initiative, which it first won three years ago.
The Richmond, Va., shop topped local rival Just Partners and Packett Group of Roanoke, Va., for the account, which recruits businesses to the state.
Barber Martin account executive Willoughby Adams said the agency will develop a new international multimedia branding campaign “to have executives worldwide recognize Virginia as a place to do business and consider Virginia for their next expansion.”
She said the new work will continue to employ the shop’s “Virginia is for business” slogan, launched earlier this year.
