Following in the footsteps of the Army, Navy, Air Force and National Guard, the U.S. Marine Corps is starting a mandatory review of its account, now at J. Walter Thompson in Atlanta.

New York consultant Richard Robbins has been hired to draft a request for proposal, sources said. Robbins did not return calls.

Billings, which include advertising, media and below-the-line marketing services, are estimated at $50 million. Measured media approached $25 million last year, per CMR.
