UPromise, the soon-to-be-launched college savings network, on Monday announced a partnership with AT&T.

AT&T customers who enroll with UPromise will see a portion of their dollars invested in tax-deferred college savings accounts, according to Lisa Wilfert, a spokeswoman for UPromise, Brookline, Mass. No information was available on what percentage will be taken out.

The consumer launch of UPromise, formed in September of last year by former Boston agency executive Michael Bronner, will take place this spring. UPromise plans to work with large companies to make college more affordable to American families.
