McCall’s magazine’s recent study on the confidence of American women points to an anomaly for our times. Conducted by Yankelovich Partners and released by the magazine earlier this fall, the survey finds a landslide 94% of women avowing ‘they can do anything they really set their mind to.’ At the same time, 62% of women think ‘men will never understand them’ and 61% ‘say men are clueless when it comes to knowing what women want.’
