NEW YORK Jim Kite has joined Publicis Groupe’s MediaVest USA as evp, director of insights, research and accountability, the agency said.

He succeeds MaryEllen Vincent, who MediaVest said has left the agency to pursue personal interests.

Kite, 40, reports to MediaVest USA president Laura Desmond and is tasked with “setting the vision of consumer insight initiatives and general research services for MediaVest and its clients,” the agency said in a statement.

In addition, Kite is responsible for developing and overseeing consumer insight tools for Starcom MediaVest Group in Canada and Latin America.
