NEW YORK Ultra 16 has opened a San Francisco outpost to service one of the interactive agency’s largest clients, Sony Electronics.

The 10-person Bay Area office will be led by director of strategy John Garrison, relationship development manager Christian DiCarlo and producer Mara Ann. Garrison will be responsible for brand strategy; DiCarlo, new business; and Ann, project management. The executives will report to Matthew Chun, founder and president of the 3-year-old, New York-based i-shop.

Some of the key areas the operation will focus on include global brand marketing and extending the organization’s reach into the Pacific Rim.
