NEW YORK MDC Partners' Cliff Freeman and Partners has won creative duties on Ultimate Electronics following a review of undisclosed agencies, the client said.
The company is owned by Ultimate Acquisition Partners, based in Thornton, Colo. The client said it plans to spend up to $15 million in media on a new campaign expected to break in September. The high-end consumer electronics chain used various agencies for projects before selecting New York-based Cliff Freeman.

Ultimate Electronics operates 32 stores in nine states, mostly in the Southwest and Midwest.
Cliff Freeman's other clients include DSW, Cadbury Schweppes' Snapple and Canada Dry brands.
