Tweed Didn't Chase Pursuit to Catch Its Boat Business

ATLANTA-Pursuit, manufacturer of fishing and sports utility boats, has signed Tweed Advertising in Fort Myers, Fla., as agency of record. Sources estimated the budget at $500,000-plus.
Tweed had been working with the Fort Pierce, Fla., client on a project basis for the last year. According to the agency, there was no review.
The shop is creating print ads for August issues of magazines such as Boating and Florida Sportsman.
Pursuit, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, will expand its line in 1998 to include models designed for the first-time buyer.
