LOS ANGELES The American Culinary Institute has chosen TrueBrand to provide research and strategic services, the client confirmed.

The San Francisco-based brand consulting firm was tapped following a national review of undisclosed firms.

According to Julie Hagler, chief marketing officer for the ACI in San Francisco, TrueBrand was hired for its strategic thinking and ability to blend research and creative.

Hagler noted that for the past 17 years, the ACI has focused on outreach to the food and beverage industry.
