LOS ANGELES True North Communications’ plan to unite its media operations as a new, rebranded media agency includes a new mission and reporting procedure as well as a new name.

According to Scot Butler, president of TN Media and media director of FCB Wor ldwide, the new entity is tentatively called Pervasive Media. After the holding company’s media arms, TN Media and FCB Media, are combined early next year, Pervasive will move from True North Diversified Cos.,
