Tropicana Solicits Ideas From Omnicom Shops

CHICAGO Tropicana has contacted Omnicom Group shops including BBDO for ideas on its ad account, though a client representative said the brand’s relationship with lead Omnicom agency Element 79 Partners “remains unchanged.”

“From time to time we reach out to agencies within the Omnicom network to provide thinking about our brand,” the rep, Pete Brace, said.

Chase confirmed the BBDO network had been contacted (the agency’s Chicago and New York office are believed to be involved) but he declined to name others.
